Tech Neck or Text Neck: How to Alleviate Neck Pain
Do you ever feel like your neck feels heavy?
It might be because of tech neck - or text neck, which is the overuse of the neck from looking down at your phone, which can lead to headaches, neck pain, shoulder and arm pain, and compromise your breath.
The weight of your head places 23-27kgs of force on your neck, which isn’t built to withstand that type of force for prolonged periods. The result is muscular and ligamentous strain and other structural issues that cause headaches, neck discomfort and reduced neck mobility.
