Discover Yoga Beyond Flexibility: Join My Yoga for Beginners’ Course

Yoga is everywhere these days. From Instagram videos of impressive poses to meditation apps promising inner peace, it’s easy to feel like yoga is all about mastering the physical. But if you’ve ever tried to touch your toes and felt defeated, or rolled out your mat only to feel more stressed than calm - I see you. And I want you to know yoga is so much more than perfect poses.

My journey into yoga

When I first started yoga 12 years ago, I loved how quickly I could get “deeper” into certain poses thanks to my natural flexibility. It felt like progress. But as the years went by, I realised something much more profound: the real progress was happening on the inside.

Yoga became less about touching my toes and more about touching base with myself. Less about achieving the perfect downward dog, and more about learning how to find calm, focus, and resilience no matter what life throws my way.

And then, a couple of years ago, I discovered I was hypermobile. Suddenly, everything made so much sense. I learned how to work with my body’s unique needs instead of pushing against them. Yoga became a journey of deep self-discovery and healing. And now, I’m here to help you start your own journey.

Why my Yoga for Beginners’ Course is different

Unlike yoga apps or drop-in classes that leave you feeling lost or overwhelmed, my Yoga for Beginners’ Course is designed to help you build a practice that works for YOU.

Whether you’re feeling stiff and inflexible, struggling with anxiety, or simply not sure where to start, this course will guide you step-by-step through the basics: from breathing techniques that calm your mind to foundational poses that build confidence and strength.

“I really enjoyed Maysun’s teaching style, for someone who has dipped in and out of yoga over the years the beginner course was ideal to rediscover my flow. Lessons were intimate and intuitive and went at the speed of learners, pausing to embrace and truly understand each movement and associated breath. Maysun’s relaxing and calming approach provides a great level of detail - I highly recommend experiencing!” - Leah K.

"I enjoyed Ladina Yoga’s ‘Beginners’ Course’ so much that I felt guilty if I had to miss class! Maysun is a great instructor and was able to go at a gentle and inclusive pace every time. I felt guided the whole way through the course and I really appreciated Maysun spending 1-on-1 time with me in class, offering alternative poses that work for my specific body. I’m itching for the intermediate course to start… 10/10!" - Dave S.
